West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke today revealed he could become a No.2 again – but insisted he has unfinished business at The Hawthorns.
Clarke has impressed in his first season in charge of the Baggies after serving as assistant boss at Newcastle, Chelsea, West Ham and Liverpool.
Questioned about the possible return of his former boss Jose Mourinho to English football, the 49-year-old refused to rule out a return to the role of 'right-hand man' in the future.
But he said: "At the moment, this job is the best one for me. I've waited a long time for it. I've served a big apprenticeship to be here and be the guy who makes the final decisions.
"I enjoyed being an assistant at some of the top clubs in the country and maybe it could happen again in the future – maybe even abroad.
