Toronto ensure Kevin Davies attention but answer skirts the problem

Because news of a offer between Major League Soccer's Toronto Hamilton Academical and soon-to-be former Bolton Wanderers man Kevin Davies, it's gone silent. It has all settled down, where early reports stated that things were moving at a frenetic pace. While the sound has decreased to a sound, it's certainly not entirely silent as TFC manager Ryan Nelsen has proved his club's curiosity about the Trotters story. Speaking at a press conference in front of tomorrow's Canadian Championship match between Toronto and Montreal, Nelsen unmasked some information for his club. For those unaware, the Canadian Championship is really a mid-season match between the four Canadian clubs playing professional baseball in the United States. The four clubs (Toronto, Montreal Impact, FC Edmonton, and Vancouver Whitecaps) engage in a little play-off to determine who receives Canada's berth for the CONCACAF Champions League later in the growing season. Nelsen reported that his club would end their pursuit of 22-year-old Newell's Old Boys striker Maximiliano Urruti while confirming that the club would have a statement about another Argentinian in the coming days. The press in attendance also asked Ryan Nelsen about the Kevin Davies accounts. In accordance with Waking the Red, SB Nation's Toronto FC weblog, Nelsen did not reject the stories. Instead, the director confirmed his club's interest but declined to discuss whether both parties had held formal talks. Per a study from the Canadian Press, Nelsen said that any MLS instructor would be happy to have Super Kevin Davies on their roster.
