NBA's Relocation Panel All Votes Against Leaders' Proceed to Washington

After weeks of speculation concerning where in actuality the Kings would wind up, it appears they will stay in Sacramento after all. Mike Amick of USA Today tweeted on Monday: ESPN.com's Mark Windhorst added: Next week if suit is followed by the rest of the owners, Sacramento could keep its NBA team. What a turn of events. Earlier in the day in the act, it appeared Seattle might ultimately obtain retribution after the SuperSonics turned into the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2008.AAn agreement between the Maloof family and a Seattle group consisting ofAhedge account boss Chris Hansen, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and the Nordstrom family wasAreachedAin late January. But NBA commissioner David Stern offered Sacramento mayor and former NBA player Kevin Johnson the ability to save the precious operation, just as he had in April 2011 once the Kings were at risk of moving to Anaheim. Naturally, Johnson's message did actually function, and now he's saved the business from going out of town for the 2nd time in about couple of years. The Kings haven't made the playoffs or posted accurate documentation over.500 since the 2005-06 plan (they went 28-54 this season), but Sacramento remains home to one of the league's best fanbases. In addition it apparently really helps to have Mayor Kevin Johnson. He's leading the Town of Sacramento just as he did as a point guard for the Phoenix Suns therefore a long time before. For Sacramento, it's about time for celebration. For Seattle, it's near, but no cigar. Now all of the Kings need to do is begin winning some games to make their home fans pleased. Or even, the Kings could be in some trouble again in the coming years.
