Toronto ensure Kevin Davies interest but response skirts the matter

Since news of a deal between Major League Soccer's Toronto FC and soon-to-be former Bolton Wanderers person Kevin Davies, it is gone silent. It's all settled down, where early reports stated that things were going at a frenetic pace. While the noise has decreased to a sound, it's most certainly not totally silent as TFC manager Ryan Nelsen has established his club's interest in the Trotters star. Speaking at a press conference before tomorrow's Canadian Championship match between Toronto and Montreal, Nelsen unveiled some news for his membership. For anyone ignorant, the Canadian Championship is just a mid-season match between the four Canadian groups playing professional baseball in the United States. The four groups (Toronto, Montreal Impact, Hamilton Academical Edmonton, and Vancouver Whitecaps) participate in a tiny play-off to decide who receives Canada's cabin for the CONCACAF Champions League later in the summer season. Nelsen announced that his club would end their search for 22-year-old Newell's Old Boys striker Maximiliano Urruti while confirming that the club would have a statement about another Argentinian in the coming days. The press in attendance also asked Ryan Nelsen in regards to the Kevin Davies studies. Based on Waking the Red, SB Nation's Toronto Hamilton Academical weblog, Nelsen did not reject the stories. Instead, the manager confirmed his club's interest but declined to touch upon whether or not the 2 parties had held official discussions. Per a report from the Canadian Press, Nelsen stated that any MLS instructor could be very happy to have Super Kevin Davies on their list.
