Chelsea FC, FC Barcelona goal Neymar is 'the Justin Bieber of soccer... - Crunchsports.com

Santos striker Neymar, who's a goal for Barcelona and Real Madrid, may be the "Justin Bieber" of world football, based on Joey Barton. Neymar, who is out of contract in 2014, is probably the most popular player in world soccer today and has also been associated with the kind of Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Juventus, Manchester City, rivals Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain in recent months. The 21-year-old is valued at A50million, but Barton, who is currently on loan at Marseille from QPR, has blasted the Brazil global after seeing him perform in Monday's friendly with Russia. Barton wrote on Twitter: "Neymar is the Justin Bieber of soccer. Brilliant on the old You Tube. Pet piss in reality..." He later tweeted: "Its amazing what some decent you tv video can achieve. I'll need to get one up performing some keepy-ups in the garden... "Neymar's actually been certainly one of their livelier people tonight... But people must stop chatting horse. He is perhaps not in exactly the same stratosphere as the son Messi and that Ronaldo fella..." And he later told followers: "Stop going on about goals in Brazil Lge as well. I once obtained 77 in 1 period in the Rainhill and Byrne u14 category and thats a tougher comp." Neymar recently said he had never heard of Barton following an episode early in the day in the summer season. Stories in Spain in recent weeks have suggested Barca could start a for Neymar at the end of the season.
