West Ham versus. Birmingham United: Final score 2-2, van Persie generates...

Some striking play at Upton Park was overshadowed by way of a late Robin van Persie target, which acquired a sketch to Manchester United, but should have been led offside. A late Robin van Persie goal gained a 2-2 draw to Manchester United at Upton Park on Wednesday, but West Ham were left to rue what might have been after replays showed the striker was offside on the goal. The Hammers were hard done, but nonetheless did take a stage and a little of good experience after outplaying the Red Devils for long stretches. West Ham's operator was the consequence of an instant and gorgeous counterattack. When United gave the ball away within 25 yards of goal, the other way was broken by the Hammers with Mohamed Diame starting things up through the middle before feeding Matt Jarvis on the left. Jarvis left Rio Ferdinand in his wake to make it to the endline and cross to the post for Andy Carroll, who nodded back across for Ricardo Vaz Te ahead in with a diving header. Neither David Ne Gea or Nemanja Vidic, who was simply on the point, can keep the ball out and West Ham were 1-0 up. The Hammers earned their goal after having a bright beginning to the match, nonetheless it appeared like the goal only woke United up. The visitors began to play quicker and with more purpose in the years ahead, which paid off if they equalized at the half-hour level. Like West Ham's target, United's came from the left. Shinji Kagawa provided van Persie, who played it back to the streaking Kagawa. A lovely shimmy by Kagawa later and Winston Reid was on the ground while Kagawa was enjoying the ball across to an Antonio Valencia, who tapped the ball into the available internet to leel issues. But while the Red Devils definitely increased their play and got an objective, they were not the better side for the rest of the first half. West Ham showed more creativity and were tougher at the back so when the match went along to the break stage, United had to feel a little privileged. The 2nd half started much sit the first concluded, with West Ham on leading foot and United playing just well enough to keep the Hammers worried. For all of West Ham's forays forward, they couldn't get many clear-cut shots away, as the Red Devils broke easily each and every time they'd the chance, albeit it seldom. it'd take a moment of individual beauty to get the Hammers a great chance and an objective, that is precisely what they got from Mohamed Diame in the 55th minute it begun to look. Having received the ball with his right back towards goal at the right corner of the field, Diame flicked the ball towards the middle, turned and struck a great curling shot in to the far corner of the internet for a wonderful go-ahead goal. Upton Park was electrical and West Ham was straight back on their solution to victory. West Ham's benefit would only last 22 minutes, however, and they have the linesman to blame for that. Kagawa had a brilliant change at the top of the box and struck a that rattled the bar, making van Persie a fat jump to hit in to the open web for the equalizer -- only replays showed van Persie to be clearly offside. The goal needs to have been eliminated, but the linesman's banner stayed down and United were amount, significantly to the Hammers' disgust. After the Red Devils equalized, they pressed hard for a success. Javier Hernandez got on and caused fits for the Hammers protection, but his first picture was right at Jussi Jaaskelainen and his next target destined energy was kept out by a diving stop. A winner was not coming for United, who, honestly, did not deserve it. They were outplayed for a lot of the fit and were only level as a result of an offside goal therefore even a pull was lovely, while West Ham were left to wonder how they did not get all three.
