Southampton - Chelsea Preview: Blues face Saints as accessories accumulate - Goal.com

SOUTHAMPTONBorucClyne, Yoshida, Fonte, ShawSchneiderlin, CorkRodriguez, Ramirez, LallanaLambert CHELSEACechAzpilicueta, Luiz, Terry, BertrandRamires, LampardOscar, Mata, MosesTorres The only change for the Saints probably will be in key support, with Jose Fonte prepared to replace Jos Hooiveld at the back after the latter found a hit in the 3-1 conquer the Reds. Other than that sole change, Southampton can remain with the line-up that highlighted last time out, with Jason Puncheon probably be overlooked once again as Jay Rodriguez looks set to keep his starting cabin. With Chelsea being forced to perform four times in the area of weekly, Rafael Benitez may want to identify a turned part as he looks ahead to the FA Cup replay against Manchester United on Monday. That could mean a rare start for John Terry at the back, particularly with Gary Cahill battling for exercise after being ruled out of international duty with a leg injury in midweek. Eden Hazard, Ashley Cole and Demba Ba are also apt to be spun from West Ham that is beaten by the side 2-0 two weeks ago as Oscar, Ryan Bertrand and Fernando Torres could be given starts. Demba Ba, though perhaps on the seat here, has been around great type for Chelsea against Southampton in every games, having netted three objectives from four shots on target this season.
