If the slide was Freudian or freakishly fortuitous, he not only hit an NBA referee, he got 'em below the whistle. Peripheral perspective was never more important, nor lacking, than that small exchange. Carlos may want to examine his side mirrors the next time he begins air-punching after routine layups.
