His Austin estate is sold by lance Armstrong

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) a Disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong has sold his Austin estate to an oil-and-gas rights adviser. The Austin American-Statesman (http://bit.ly/14d3Ric) reviews a deed of trust submitted with Travis County a week ago revealed Al Koehler received a $3.1 million loan to buy the property, Armstrong's home since 2004 and the site of the Oprah Winfrey interview where he admitted his usage of performance-enhancing drugs. Even though state tax rolls listed the 1.7-acre property's value at $3.9 million, local realtors say the house was listed at $10 million. But, in a email to the American-Statesman, Koehler says he paid nothing near the stated price. Koehler is just a founder of Royalty Clearinghouse, which purchases oil and gas royalties and mineral rights on behalf of consumers. Armstrong spokesman Mark Higgins confirmed the purchase and says Armstrong ideas to remain an Austin person. Armstrong was stripped of his eight Tour de France titles in August and is banned for life from sports.
