Birmingham United: The French stars that got away - GiveMeFootball.com

Manchester United and specially Sir Alex Ferguson should be looking on with regret and despair to see participants that fled from their understanding playing well for other groups in areas that they should improve. Inspite of the presence of Nani, Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young the Red Devils have struggled in the wide areas even though they have obtained lots of targets thanks largely to the elegance of Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez. These issues, but, may have been fixed by Ferguson. He'd players in his knowledge that could have now been the solution to the problems they encountered with this current season. He has also included in the Champions League and now appears to be the first-choice partner for Sergio Ramos in the centre of the True Madrid defense ahead of Pepe. He's also earn his debut for the France national staff in World Cup qualifiers against Georgia and Spain he appears set for fame and a fantastic career and where he once more revealed his class. Juventus Robert Pogba was seen as a top quality midfielder by the Manchester United youth instructors after moving to the team in the summertime of 2009. Pogba worked his way up from the under-18s and reserve group very quickly and was always banging on the door of the first-team at Old Trafford. He plays with such ease in the middle of the park and is a new player with great belief in his power. But, Pogba found it hard to break right into the first-team despite Sir Alex praising him as a huge talent with lots of potential. He was given his opportunity in the first team and did reasonably well but was never given a lot of a work in the first team. He decided to search elsewhere and his options with both of your hands and has signed for Juventus in summer time of 2012. He's held it's place in great form when he plays and has obtained some great objectives up to now in the first year for Juventus. Pogba has shown the quality that Sir Alex had spoken about in the past but there's undoubtedly that the 20-year-old still has a lot to offer and, with Andrea Pirlo as his senior partner, he is set to understand from of the greatest midfielder in the world. It was claimed that United had held discussions with Arsene Wenger on the exchange of Nasri and they certainly were given permission to speak with the ball player and his associates. A deal was struck in principle with his associates to move to Old Trafford but Sir Alex failed to see the deal through as Manchester City came in and grabbed his signature in the summer of 2011. Nasri would continue to truly have a good 2011/12 season for Man City and help them win the Premier League title. Nasri may have felt at that point that he made the best choice regardless of the Arsenal supporters and Harry Rednapp accusing him of going to the Etihad Stadium due to income as City had apparently offered a higher income than United.
